With Black Sea, Hundreds wrote a song that holds the very human capacity to feel the deepest, often contradictory feelings at once, in it’s music, words, notes and chords. Song & story rang in me - so I let them ring some more. Built a vocal world around them and then disappeared into the music for many many hours.

Black Sea addresses loss, grief and hope for a life away from war, persecution, and inhumane conditions. It is a reminder, that history is repetitive, with hate and ignorance competing for who is growing faster into the minds of people. It’s 2024 and people are still being left behind. Let’s not look away, but keep up the dialogue, the activism, and the clear voice for the importance of human rights and the value of every single life independent of descent and privilege. If you have resources to give - be it money, time, a voice or kindness - share them. So: the revenues from this song will be donated to Seawatch.
